I’ve [said it before](https://johnkiv.us/2013/01/25/charlotte-seeks-125-million-from-charlotte-to-renovate-stadium/) and I’ll say it again: do not give a NFL team tax payer money to build a stadium.
Of course the NCAA is willing to give Clowney a $5 million insurance policy in exchange for being able to profit off of him for another year[^fn1].
[^fn1]: Not that Clowney really has a choice due to the NFL’s “must be out of high school for 3 years” rule.
There is no one better for on-the-course WTF moments than Mickelson, and this absolutely classic.
I hate when this happens, especially when I’m attending a tournament in person. Why can’t they just put the stars in separate groups so that people can follow them easier without having to fight an enormous crowd?

XKCD – Perl Problems
XKCD is so consistent, I could link to them nearly every day, but today it was especially hilarious.

The success of the *Arrow* tv show pushed DC into putting Jeff Lemire, one of its best upcoming writers, on the book. Throw in stellar artist Andrea Sorrentino and you have a top notch reboot of a character that is getting a lot of buzz recently. Well done DC.
I know Chris Pratt can do humor. I have not, however, seen him in a serious role. I am cautiously optimistic that this is good casting[^fn1].
