The BBC has a couple of big weeks coming up.
This was a no-brainer.
It is going to be weird seeing Tennant play the same character[^f4223] he played in the British version, but this article makes is seem like the show’s plot will also closely parallel the British version. I do hope they change the killer, though.

Good news for further development in the DC Comics universe.
One of the minds behind the excellent *Angel* series sounds like a great choice to do Daredevil. I am already looking forward to it.
Chris Roberson’s story and Rob Thomas’ television skills? Sounds like a pretty awesome combination.

Trailer for Ron Moore’s new Show
This looks super creepy.
This rumor seems really, really flimsy. That said, if they did actually sign Saffron Burrows to play Victoria Hand, I doubt she would be a one-and-done character.[^fn1]
[^fn1]: The real question though: would they give her the pink streak in her hair?
This is the second best “save the date” that I have seen this year.[^fn1]

It looks a show that Elyssa likes is *finally* going to make it past the first 13 episodes.[^fn1]
[^fn1]: I admit, the show is pretty funny. I thought it would over-the-top stupid, but it has turned out to be be a little more subtle and I have been really enjoying.
Because of the ratings drop after week one, I *guess* there was some chance that this show would not get a full season. I always assumed it would, though.
That dual light saber looks pretty awesome.

FOX Renews ‘Sleepy Hollow’
*Sleepy Hollow* has been a pleasant surprise. I did not really expect anything, but it has turned out to be one of my favorite new shows of the season.

After all the times FOX wrecked Joss Whedon shows, I find it fitting FOX is going to try and do a comic-based show so soon after Whendon’s S.H.I.E.L.D. premiered so high.
> Sunday’s premiere, titled “Tin Man Is Down,” is a strident and occasionally clumsy hour of exposition intended to help viewers adjust to the new normal. Much of that exposition is offloaded, in great gulping bits of speechifying, to new cast member Tracy Letts — an actor better known as a brilliant playwright — as a scheming senator aiming to railroad Carrie and, perhaps, shut down the CIA entirely. Saul is now the acting head of the Agency, with Abraham’s slippery Dar Adal by his side. This change has the benefit of putting Patinkin in a more important role, but it also places Saul’s love of country ahead of his more fatherly devotion to Carrie. There’s a wonderful echo of John le Carré in the shared history of Saul and the season’s new adversary, an Iranian nicknamed “The Magician”; Rupert Friend’s Peter Quinn remains a compelling, complicated spook. And though the racial politics of her entrance is botched, I quite liked the introduction of a Persian American CIA officer named Fara, played by Nazanin Boniadi.
Greenwald’s article completely nails what is great and what is wrong with Homeland. His description of the first few episodes of Season 3 make me think we will never get back the show we had at the start of Season 1, but that the ride Season 3 takes us on will still be worth watching.
This is Time Warner Cable’s spin on that current CBS negotiations.[^fn1] I see no “good guys” in this fight. The networks realize they need to squeeze the cable companies because people are no longer willing to spend as much on ads, and the cable companies want to hold on to their dying business models. The whole thing is a mess.

Woah. I did *not* see this coming. To be honest, I am kind of excited. Since I only started watching Doctor Who with the reboot, I have never seen any of the “older” incarnations of the Doctor. It should be fun.
