This is the first in our *John and Elyssa’s Favorites* series. We started the series with how you should start the day: Breakfast!
I was so happy that Dutch said yes to doing an interview with me for the new site. As you would probably guess, it came out amazing.
As you might expect, I am interested in seeing what comes out of this.
True. A Rex Ryan coached team might actually be able to get a win against a bunch of 10 year old boy scouts.
This was a bummer. I assume the match would have had the same result, but it was kind of scary watching Sting be so visibly hurt. I hope he’s okay. At 56 it’s tough to say you want “one more match” out of him, but I would really like to see one more match out of him.
Such great news. I’m super pumped for this show to be back on the air. It was so, so great.

I’ll believe it when I see it, but I am much more optimistic about this happening now that Disney owns the franchise.
I really hope that Sasha took all these pictures on Tyler Breeze’s phone.

The game last night was much, much closer than I would of like. That said, I feel like pre-Dabo Clemson teams would have lost it. Still, it’s tough for me to argue with Pat Fored’s take [that Clemson’s overrated](http://us.rd.yahoo.com/sports/rss/Pat+Forde/SIG=13mkchj2l/*http%3A//sports.yahoo.com/news/clemson–for-now–continues-to-look-overrated-after-beating-louisville-050430408.html).

Huge bummer. I really like “Clara.” I’m going to miss her.

The Evolution of the BO$$
Over at *Cage Side Seats*, Andrew Swift has an [amazing piece on the career of Sasha Banks](http://www.cagesideseats.com/2015/9/8/9279155/the-evolution-of-a-bo):

(A common recent remark is that Seth Rollins has failed to do so as WWE World Heavyweight Champion—though his booking should be the first culprit there.) If you want to see a quintessential example of elevating a title, look at Sasha Banks’ reign as NXT Women’s Champion. She put on two match of the year candidates (and her Fatal 4-way title win is likely an honorable mention)—including what seems to be the favorite, gave commanding and center-stage performances every time she was in a ring or on a mic, and made every one of her appearances must-watch TV. During her reign, she made the NXT Women’s Championship the most valued title in the company. And giving that rub to Bayley, who she has a very long history with dating back to early 2013, in Brooklyn, in that match, was the perfect way to drop it.

Sasha Banks and The New Day are two of my favorite things in wrestling right now. I’m fine with them doing more together.
I’ll be bummed if Rousey isn’t at Wrestlemania, but I’m fine with her branching out into other areas. That said, I still have my fingers crossed that she’ll have some kind of WWE run.
Yeah. Sure they would.
Congratulations to Big Papi. Another great accomplishment in (what I would argue) is a hall of fame career.
It seems unlikely, but I have learned to never count out Big Papi
