I would be fine if Bruce Timm drew everything.

Official Batmobile Photo Released
I am not particularly hopeful that this movie will be any good, but this batmobile looks pretty cool.
Meet Arrow’s Ra’s al Ghul
If they can get permission to use a Batman villain like Ra’s al Ghul, can’t they bring Harley to the small screen?
Gail Simone Brings Back Secret Six
I am so pumped to have a Gail Simone Secret Six book back. Of course, I still have fears that DC’s editorial department is going to make it impossible for her to write the book she would want to write.
I hope that this rumor about DC movies is simply an off-hand comment getting out of control. I want my superhero movies to have some degree of levity.
The master of adorable Batgirl comics puts his spin on the new Batgirl.[^f0512]
[^f0512]: SPOILER: It’s awesome.
Unsurprisingly, it looks awesome.
Elyssa and I met Babs while were were at HeroesCon, and she could not have been nicer. We are really looking forward to what she is going to do on this book.
I love that they are developing rich world of superheroes over in the “Arrow-verse.”
> Basically, every episode in the first season will introduce a character that might be a future Joker, each emphasising aspects of the character’s iconography, a card sharp, a flower seller, a clown, or just a guy with a very big grin.
Do you want to hear how I got these scars?[^f2657]
[^f2657]: Of course, I think this is a brilliant move by the people behind *Gotham.* Keeping the Joker’s backstory a mystery is always a good idea.
> “I want to manage expectations with respect to Harley Quinn,” Guggenheim told Collider in response to a question about using Batman characters now that “Gotham” has begun production. “She was always intended to be an Easter egg. I don’t want people to go in with incorrect expectations and walk away from Episode 16 disappointed. But there is an element to the Easter egg that was not spoiled by the promo, that I think people will find a lot of fun.”
It was a cool cool to hear Tara Strong’s voice on the show. At this point, I *think* I would be okay with the Arrow show runners bringing Harley Quinn to the show. At this point, I think that Harley in a show like Arrow is a lot more likely than her showing up in the new Justice League movie universe.
It should come as no surprise that a comic with Harley Quinn as the lead character would do well. She has a huge fan base, and Palmiotti’s promise to bring her closer to her original roots has made her long term fans extremely excited for the book.
[The World’s End](https://itunes.apple.com/us/movie/the-worlds-end/id686656998?at=10l5TL)[^affill] is in the running for my favorite movie of 2013, with [Star Trek – Into Darkness](https://itunes.apple.com/us/movie/star-trek-into-darkness/id643978126?at=10l5TL) not far behind.
I was not a *huge* fan of [Man of Steel](https://itunes.apple.com/us/movie/man-of-steel-2013/id684580963?at=10l5TL), but I did enjoy parts of it. Also, it seems like it will be the foundation that the rest of the DC movie universe is built on.

If it was the original Timm version of Harley, it probably would have been the top spot.
Good news for further development in the DC Comics universe.
I finally got around to watching the episode of Tim Daly’s web series that guest starred Kevin Conroy. It was more amazing than I could have hoped.
This only makes sense if he can act completely different from how he acts on Girls.
> What it does mean is that the “Big Two” publishing era is officially over—which has been true for a long time, but will now be official. For 50 years, freelancers ran from one side of town to another, from Marvel to DC, looking for work, finding safe haven when they got on the bad side of one editor, and running back when things looked better. That freelance culture hasn’t existed in a while except as a romantic notion, but it did still exist.
I think I would be more excited about a top-down change where writers instead of editors can decide how certain things happens in stories.
You’re not just some guy in a bat costume are you?[^fn1]
[^fn]: Side note: the music in this trailer is ridiculous. Why does DC think it needs that garbage in its trailers?
