I could not be happier about this pairing. I had high hopes for the *Star Wars* franchise now that it is in Disney’s hands.

When I was at Disney World earlier this year, it felt like Hollywood Studios was due for an update. I am glad to hear rumors that it is next in line to get one.
I think this could be cool. I **do not** approve of them having to shut down the *Festival of the Lion King* to make it happen though. Hopefully, any re-location of that show will only take a few weeks.
Idris Elba as the Next James Bond?
Please make this happen.
Homeland Renewed for a 3rd Season
Was there really any question?
First Iron Man 3 Trailer Released
Go watch it. I’ll be here when you get back.
I hate the CW for sucking me in with all their little DC Comics easter eggs. For example, the villain of the week this week: Deadshot[^fn1].
[^fn1]: I feel like I should get out my old _Secret Six_ comics in preparation for watching it.
Really great promo. It really is too bad NBC has jerked around with this show as much as it has.
So ridiculous. I hope France passes the law and I hope Google just drops all French publications from their search results. It would be another solid lesson on the “law of unintended consequences.”
Rumors of a Firefly Animated Series
Oh, how I wish these rumors were true.
I ended up buying a lot of ebooks because of these price increases. It looks like I might have had that extra cost refunded if I actually had bought them.
November 6, 2015. Mark it on your calendars[^fn1]
[^fn1]: Also, if you did not already know, *Iron Man 3* on May 3, 2013, *Thor: Dark Side of the World* on November 8th, 2013, *Captain America: The Winter Solider* on April 4, 2014, and *Guardians of the Galaxy* on August 1, 2014.
So what is their business model? Do they hope people will play the game and then go buy more Marvel comics or watch more Marvel movies? Whenever I see that a game is “free,” I just assume that means that it is littered with little “add ons” you can buy to “enhance your gaming experience.” I really hope that is not the case with this game.

Community Premiere Delayed
Frakkin’ Kabletown.
Amazing. I hope a professionally recorded version of this is released soon.
Roku allows for native viewing[^fn1].
[^fn1]: On an interesting note, their recommendation that you use an iPhone or iPad with Airplay to view it on your AppleTV makes me think that they will have a non-Flash streaming option for iOS devices.
I have not watched a single episode, and everyone I know who has watched it says its very mediocre. Still, I am always pleased when a sci-fi show gets picked up by a network.
David Sparks and Brett Terpstra have released a new *MacSparky Field Guide:* [60 Mountain Lion Tips](http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/stat?id=r*bqlTuiXSo&offerid=146261&type=3&subid=0&tmpid=1826&RD_PARM1=http%253A%252F%252Fitunes.apple.com%252Fus%252Fbook%252F60-mountain-lion-tips%252Fid565956630%253Fmt%253D11%2526uo%253D4%2526partnerId%253D30)[^f0342]. I have no doubt it will be worth a purchase[^f0435].
[^f0435]: In fact, I am currently downloading it.

New Trailer for The Hobbit
It should come as no surprise that this is currently the movie I am most excited to see.
