Whither Lucha Underground
There are more and more rumors that this might be one and only season of *Lucha Underground*. It’s a huge bummer if that turns out to be the case. I have loved this show.
This article is kind of useless. That said, I cannot wait for Rhonda Rousey in the WWE.
With so many cool stories about The Rock, he has to be an awesome guy, right?
It feels like WWE wants to get the belt off Owens since he’ll be moving up to RAW full-time, but they aren’t ready for complete live NXT special to do it. I am fine with this.
It’s getting a little dusty in here.
Bummer. I guess it’s good that he’s going to be back in 2015, but it still sucks he’s going to be gone so long. I hope this means that Fin Bailor is going to get a nice NXT push while Kevin Owens moves on to the “big leagues.”
Kind of a bummer (and I don’t agree with people who say the curb stomp isn’ ta good “heel move.” I think it was I perfect heel finisher.)
I guess I’m glad we’ll get to see Kevin Owens on RAW every week, but I am worried that–even though he’s been awesome on RAW so far–that once he’s actually on the main roster, he’s going to be mishandled.
How can you watch last night’s amazing match between Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks and *not* think that a women’s match could headline a WWE PPV? (And, if you haven’t seen the match from last night, take advantage of the WWE Network being free this month and give it a look.)

A nice little follow-up to a classic Jericho segment from “long ago” (1998).
Jericho was Daniel Bryan to me, before Daniel Bryan (or Bryan Danielson) existed. He was the amazing in-ring wrestler, who I always wished had gotten a bigger push. Unfortunately, (for me) Jericho had other interests, and ended up starting a part-time, on-again, off-again, schedule with the WWE. Seeing what is happening to Bryan and his health, however, it looks like Jericho made the right choice.
Clearly, WWE is making a major subscriber push for May. This is its latest attempt. If they are going to do a special event in Texas, however, I wish they could have done it on a Tuesday.
This whole thing makes me so sad. The end of Wrestlemania 30 was a triumphant moment, that I thought was going to start the new Daniel Bryan-era of the WWE. Instead, it appears that was the career defining win that singled the beginning of the end of Bryan’s career.
At this point, I can only hope that the WWE can take the lessons it learned on Bryan, and apply them to Sami Zayn. I want the end of Wrestlemania 35 to be Zayn standing, in the ring, holding the WWE title, as the confetti falls all around him.

Sasha Banks: An Appreciation

Sigh. If Zayn’s out too, I think they need to have Bailor v. Breeze open the show, with the winner facing Owens for the belt at the end. Also, that would give the chance for 2 different Bailor paint jobs.
Just so, so good. I hope they push Cesaro to the moon some day.

Stuff like this is part of the future of wrestling distribution. Get in on the ground floor now, especially from a promotion that has a lot to offer.

I am still bummed that we won’t see AJ in the ring for a while,[^f0734] I am glad she is doing some cool stuff away from the ring.

I completely agree. Lucha Underground is currently my favorite wrestling show. I am going to be majorly bummed when Season 1 ends and the show goes on break.
