I used to see fun things like this all the time, but I have not seen one in a few years it seems. I hope this is the start of a trend.[^fn1]
[^fn1]: Also, can we get a Kickstarter for $58 million to build one of these?

Woah. Really? I just read the “Age of Ultron” comic book series, and I would *not* like a movie that was similar to that. If I did not have utmost trust in Joss, I would be pretty nervous about the next Avengers movie.
Yes. Awesome.
Just in case you freaked out when you did not see it in the October solicitations.
Now, when people either (1) ask me questions about this or (2) say ridiculous rumors about it, I can just point them to this post.
Speaking of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., it looks like September 24th is the date we finally get to see it.
This looks awesome.
Mark Apri 4, 2014 on your calendar.
The key is that you now have to preregister over at [a special promo page](https://promo.comixology.com) on or before April 9th and then they will email you when you can actually redeem the issues. I would assume this will allow them to better predict server and bandwidth requirements for the promotion.
1. Hats off to Marvel for giving away so many issues. I hope it gets people reading some comics they have been meaning to check out.
2. The load being put on Comixology’s servers seems to be an indication that there is a demand for digital comics content. The publishers should try to capitalize on this demand by lowering prices on some of the most popular series that people download during the free period. Use the free downloads a way to gauge interest in various books and then run targeted sales at those books. It seems like a no-brainer, but I doubt that Marvel will do it.
I have not been a fan of these trailers, but after seeing Downey and Shane Black do *Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang*, I have faith they’ll do a good movie.
I hope this does not mean that Jonathan Hickman’s run will be coming to an end sooner rather than later.
Go watch it. I’ll be here when you get back.
November 6, 2015. Mark it on your calendars[^fn1]
[^fn1]: Also, if you did not already know, *Iron Man 3* on May 3, 2013, *Thor: Dark Side of the World* on November 8th, 2013, *Captain America: The Winter Solider* on April 4, 2014, and *Guardians of the Galaxy* on August 1, 2014.
So what is their business model? Do they hope people will play the game and then go buy more Marvel comics or watch more Marvel movies? Whenever I see that a game is “free,” I just assume that means that it is littered with little “add ons” you can buy to “enhance your gaming experience.” I really hope that is not the case with this game.
All comic fans should take a look at the page that brought us the “modern” Captain America.
This seems pretty flimsy.
In Whedon we trust.
Mark Your Calendars: May 1, 2015.
The Beat puts together a single article that lists all the details of this week’s Marvel NOW! announcements. Though the teams on these books are impressive, there’s a strong change I will not purchase any of them when they come out. For some reason I just cannot get excited about any of them. The one exception might be Mark Waid and Leinil Yu’s *Indestrucible Hulk.* Of course, I could end up picking some of them up digitally if they get a lot of positive buzz.
