My MyMagic+ Test Experience
Erin Foster explains her recent experience with MyMagic+ over at *TouringPlans.com*. It is well worth the read if you are interested in the MyMagic+ and Fastpass+ system. The Q&A at the end of her article is especially helpful. I was particularly interested in this question:
> **Alan asked if Disney would allow you register for FP+ if you’ve purchased an annual pass online or on the phone, but have not yet activated it.** According to cast member RJ, the answer is yes. Every Disney ticket now comes with an ID code, even “Will Call” tickets like an unactivated annual pass. On the My Disney Experience site, in the screen to link tickets to your account, select “Will Call” and take it from there. In the MyMagic help room at Bay Lake, I overheard a guest trying to solve an issue similar to yours. It took a while, but they did resolve the situation. My personal guess is that many guests will have problems with this type of transaction, but once everything is up and running, it will sort itself out.
I hope this have this all ironed out by the beginning of October, so I can take advantage of Fastpass+ over Thanksgiving.
Speaking of this year’s Food and Wine Festival, here is a rundown of the *really* important part.

Take a break from looking at the progress on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and look back at the construction of Expedition Everest.
Jeff Kober provides a good tip over at *Mouse Planet*:
> The area north and west of Cirque du Soleil is really the best location to park. There are usually more spaces available there than anywhere else. And since the marina exists close to House of Blues, you can walk from one end to the other, then return using the boat shuttle from the Marketplace marina near the Rainforest Cafe. No matter what time of day, this is probably your best choice when parking at Downtown Disney, and when wanting to walk the length of the experience.
This will be my plan until construction is completed.[^fn1]

Disney Springs Construction Photo Report
Looking at Joe Hogarty’s ohoto report brings back so many memories. As I have said a bunch of times before, I spent so many great nights at the Comedy Warehouse, that I really sad to see it go. I hope Disney Springs can be at least as strong as the old Pleasure Island was.
As always, *Disney Food Blog* has a pretty detailed rundown of everything happening during the Disney Food and Wine Festival. It is going to be really hard not to drive down there for a weekend to try out some of the new stuff.[^fn1]
[^fn1]: If I really want to convince Elyssa to head down, then I should probably mention the “The Chocolate Experience: From Bean to the Bar by Ghirardelli”. That sounds amazing.
Interesting. I will be staying at the Beach Club for 4 days[^fn1], and I wonder if $15 is really worth it. It is going to be a tough call.[^fn2]
[^fn1]: Well, three days where I will actually be in and around the place.
[^fn2]: Especially, because I keep thinking I can stock the fridge with Coke Zero for about $4.

Saving Mr Banks Poster Released
The poster is amazing.
I know this is necessary to start building the new Disney Springs, but it really sad to see the Comedy Warehouse get torn down. I had so many good memories at that place.
This *might* help cellphone use in the park[^fn1], but it definitely will not help the fact that AT&T is pretty much useless in most of the state of Florida.
[^fn1]: I really doubt it will. There are just too many people.
