Two thoughts:
1. I agree with Tom.
2. I hope we are both wrong and Disney announces something big.

Now, when people either (1) ask me questions about this or (2) say ridiculous rumors about it, I can just point them to this post.
It is sad to see Carol Stein’s role reduced. Hopefully, they can find her a nice, new home at Disney Springs when it is completed. Preferably, at some kind of improv comedy club.[^fn1]
[^fn1]: I will never get over how good she was at the Comedy Warehouse. I really, really miss that place.
I wonder if this is what Elyssa means when she says she wants to “drink around the world” at Disney?
> The current plan calls for lots I, J and K to be closed on July 22 2013. Combined with the recent lot H closure, this will mean that all parking lots from Disney Quest to the Pleasure Island bus stops will be closed.
That is really going to make things congested. I am interested to see how the [shuttle bus](http://www.wdwmagic.com/attractions/disney-springs/news/15jul2013-more-parking-lot-closures-coming-to-downtown-disney-and-off-site-parking-readied-for-busy-periods.htm#.UeQzUeNIJrQ.twitter) stuff works.
I thought for sure this post was going to be from [Oh My Disney](http://blogs.disney.com/oh-my-disney/), but it actually an example of [WDW Radio](http://www.wdwradio.com) updating its blogging game.
Huh. I never realized how much space the World Showcase has to expand if Disney chooses to do so.
In the various times I had been do Disney World in the past 30+ years, I had not been on the Carousel of Progress until last year. I am so glad I decided to ride it[^fn1], especially since I feel that it is so quintessentially Disney.
[^fn1]: I can thank Elyssa for suggesting it.
I know that Cap’n Jack’s doesn’t have the best reputation, but I have always had a good time when I went. It is a stretch to say I will miss it, but it is weird to think it will be gone.[^fn1]
[^fn1]: On the other hand, I am going to miss Planet Hollywood when it closes. I have had just too many memories at that place.
Speaking of movies that I think are going to be great…
This looks like it is going really good.
Well, shoot. That is where I *always* part.
They look great. I am really looking forward to this movie.
I agree with Robert Niles. I love the Boardwalk area around Crescent Lake, and I always try to spend a bunch of time there when I visit.
Wow. It is a lot larger than I thought it would be. It should be an excellent center to New Fantasyland when it is completed next year.
The increase in 10K races at various Disney running events is a positive development. It helps get people who think a half marathon sounds impossible[^fn1], and gives them a chance to run a Disney race. I hope the trend continues.
[^fn1]: Like I kind of do.
Give me a minute. I’m going to download this, right now.
I do not think I will be able to make it down for the festival this year, but these pictures make me wish I could.
David Smith[^fn1] gives a nice summary of the history and the plans for the future of one of my favorite places at Walt Disney World: Downtown Disney.
[^fn1]: Not the [Feed Wrangler](http://feedwrangler.net) guy.
Save this for a little trivia fun during your next drive to Disney World.
