I will probably tune in, just to see a livestream from Walt Disney World.

This one perplexes me. I understand why Tom sees value in the $100 per person event, however, I simply feel that $100 for the experiences in his review is really, really high. It will be interesting to see if a consensus forms around this “soiree” as time goes on.
Of course Disney is going to make more Frozen related things. I would have been surprised if they were not going to do this.
I’m glad to see this return. In fact, I’d like if more rides got special Christmas makeovers.
Preview starting September 29th on tablets, with the actual debut on Disney XD on October 3.
Important information from Scott Wurzel over at *TouringPlans*.
Mickey looks adorable in his little sweater vest. Of course, I am not sure I am ever going to want to spend $750 a night for a room at this hotel.
I am not particularly interested in Google Glass, but this article on *TouringPlans* is kind of interesting. I never really thought about Google Glass would play at Disney World.
I would be all over a Marriott Springhill Suites just outside the Walt Disney World grounds.
I am not even a huge dog person and *I* wish that I could have been there for this.
This is pretty awesome.
This is a huge bummer. I loved Off Kilter. I can understand that Disney wants to update its entertainment offerings, but I wish there was some way they could keep Off Kilter playing a few days a week.
I wish the characters played afternoon baseball games. I would totally watch those.
These additional cost, “Premium Packages” are going to show up at all of the major Disney events. They are just too popular to pass up. This one includes:
> a preferred viewing area for the 8:15 p.m. “Mickey’s Boo-To-You Parade,” a preferred viewing spot for “Happy HalloWishes” fireworks extravaganza, as well as a special dessert party at Cinderella’s Royal Table, hosted by Lady Tremaine. The restaurant will be transformed into a villainous atmosphere, with a piano player and haunting solos from Cinderella’s evil step-mother. The dessert party will include over-the-top desserts and non-alcoholic beverages, plus an autograph card and a souvenir Maleficent Dragon cup.
Speaking of *Villains Unleashed*, you can see the opening performance from the event over at [Inside the Magic](http://www.insidethemagic.net/2014/08/villains-unleashed-brings-out-the-dark-side-of-disney-as-rare-characters-descend-upon-walt-disney-world-for-one-night-event/).
Here’s the summary:
> One would hope that with these changes – especially the new price tag, the new Villains Unleashed hard ticket party would be an enjoyable experience with Disney learning from the mistakes that were made a year earlier.
> Unfortunately that wasn’t the case and Disney grossly oversold the event making crowds unmanageable, merchandise and food selling out early in the night, and over three hour waits for character meet-and-greets during a five hour event. The situation was so bad that Disney was reportedly offering guests full refunds for the event at Guest Relations or offering guests tickets to this year’s Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
Ouch.
She appears to *not* have been a fan. Some of the long lines associated with the character meet-n-greets is exactly the type thing I was afraid of. Unfortunately, I’m not sure how Disney can resolve this.
Star-Lord and Gamora don’t look half bad. I think I would get a picture taken with them.
Speaking of closings, it looks like Disney is clearing out more and more room at the Studios. I hope this means some announcements about updates are just around the corner.
This a bummer. I was hoping to try this one day.
