No surprise here. I have a feeling that *Frozen* is going to be a huge, huge success for Disney.
The quick answer: yes *and* no.
This looks like a really impressive meet and greet. I hope it is as cool in real life as it looks in the pictures.
The concept art of these new Ariel and Merida floats looks awesome. I hope they can execute on these designs.

Speaking of Food and Wine, here is Tom Bricker’s review of some of the snacks that have been available in the various kiosks.
In case you needed *more* reasons to go to this year’s Food and Wine Festival.
It looks like we are getting closer and closer to this ride actually being open. I am hoping it’s ready to go by February of next year.
Finally, a good look at what this movie is going to be about. Judging from what I see in the trailer, I think I am really going to like it.
Useful if you want to run, instead of just do a metric buttload of walking, when you are at Disney.

Pixar delays release of two films
> 2014 will be the first year since 2005 that Pixar has not released a film.
Major bummer.
The two that I am most excited about:
> Disney gardeners will paint the landscape with rainbows of blooms while Epcot chefs tempt guests with marketplace tastes during the 21st Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival March 5 – May 18, 2014, at Walt Disney World Resort.

> Star Wars Weekends returns to the Walt Disney World Resort in May and June 2014, as Disney’s Hollywood Studios becomes Star Wars central for guests of all ages. Specific dates for the annual sci-fi fan-fest will be announced at a later date.[^fn1]
[^fn1]: Of course, I really hope that Star Wars weekend overlaps with the Flower and Garden festival at least one weekend.
Thankfully, this does not conflict with any of my planned 2014 trips.[^fn1]

Splash Mountain is going to be closed from January 6, 2014 through March 21, 2014. I am bummed it will be closed during the Princess Half-Marathon weekend, but I have my fingers crossed that this will help fix a lot of little problems that ride has had recently.
It’s official. The food kiosks are coming back to the 2014 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. More importantly, the dates of the festival have been announced: March 5 through May 18, 2014.[^fn1]
[^fn1]: Which, thankfully, includes our honeymoon.
I am, unsurprisingly, excited about this.
