Just in case anyone is going during that time.

This really shows how massive this ride is going to be.
It really does look like a beautiful resort.
All Aboard the Jingle Cruise
I know that some people find the Jungle Cruise to be corny, but Elyssa and I love it. I am gladding they are going to be adding a little holiday cheer to the ride. It seems a perfect place for it.
This is cool. I am really excited to see how this works.
A cool little addition while Disney Spring is being constructed.[^fn1]
[^fn1]: I really hope the corn-dogs are as good as everyone says the Disneyland ones are.
The ears look pretty impressive during Celebrate the Magic and Wishes. I would love to see a detailed explanation of how the ears work.
It looks like there is no trace left of the Comedy Warehouse. I still miss that place.
I wish I had these tips before the Worldwide Photowalk last week.
This room looks amazing. I would love to stay there someday, but I have a feeling that is not something which is going to happen.
I, obviously, have high hopes for this movie, but the trailers have not done the best job balancing the various elements of the film. I hope the movie itself does not have similar issues.
I love posts like this. I did not know a bunch of them, but here are some of my favorites:
* 12 – The theme parks use a patented ‘Smellitzer’ device designed to pump certain scents around. Whether it’s a waft of sea salt in Pirates of the Caribbean, or vanilla in Main Street, your senses are constantly being played.
* 54 – Walt Disney’s attention to detail was legendary. He placed the bins at Disney World 25 steps away from the hot dog stall, as this was how long it took him to eat a hot dog.
* 73 – The ideas for Wall-E, Monsters Inc, A Bug’s Life and Finding Nemo came from a single lunchtime brainstorming session in 1994, before the first Toy Story film was even finished. What did you accomplish over sandwiches today?
* 74 – Though commonly referred to as seven ‘dwarves’, the films actual title is Snow White and the Seven ‘Dwarfs’. This is because in 1938 when the film was released, ‘dwarfs’ was the accepted plural. Blame JRR Tolkien for the change.
I *did* know this one, and I still love it:
* 20 – Joss Whedon was part of a team of writers brought in to perk up the Toy Story script, and came up with the character of Rex, the cowardly dinosaur (Rex was voiced by Wallace Shawn, who you’ll know from The Princess Bride and Clueless. What a CV.) and the line, “You are a sad, strange little man”.
Finally, I am going to have to try this:
* 29 – Apparently, if you send Mickey and Minnie Mouse an invitation to your wedding they’ll send you back an autographed photo and a ‘Just Married’ badge. If you send Cinderella and Prince Charming an invitation, you’ll get an autographed congratulatory certificate.
The caramel apple tart looks amazing. I want one *now*.
I wonder if this “refurbishment” is actually going to be a “destruction” that will start getting things read for the rumors Star Wars expansion.[^fn1]
[^fn1]: I, obviously, have nothing to back this up. Just complete, wishful, speculation on my part.
This is a really good move by Disney. Making it a little bit less of a hassle to get out after late-night shows is always appreciated.
I hope the predictions for Star Wars weekend are right:[^fn1]
* Friday May 16 – Sunday May 18
* Friday May 23 – Sunday 25
* Friday May 30 – Sunday June 1
* Friday June 6 – Sunday June 8
[^fn1]: My analysis: they seem consistent with the recent trend. The only thing that makes me nervous is that that the 3rd weekend still starts in May. I hope these are right, but I would not be surprised to see May 23, May 30, June 6 and June 13th, instead.
Fit2Run Coming to Downtown Disney
This makes a lot of sense, especially with all of the runDisney events that occur during the year.
Relatedly, I hope that this is the type of store we will be getting in the new Disney Spring.[^fn1]
[^fn1]: i.e., A store with a strong focus and that has a good reputation as being near the top in a particular market segment.
The most concrete explanation of the new Avatar land that Disney has released to date. Also, a 2017 opening announced.
Tom Corless at *WDW News Today*:
> Yes, that’s right. It sounds like Disney and Warner Brothers have either signed or are very close to singing an agreement that will bring “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit” movie-inspired areas to the Disney Parks. This comes on the heels of rumors that it would be Universal that would acquire the theme parks rights several months ago.
This would be amazing. I would definitely prefer *Lord of the Rings* at a Disney park over Universal. Also, I am not sure I can even comprehend how great the Studios would be if it had equal parts *Star Wars*, *Lord of the Rings*, and Pixar.
