Robert Agcaoili has some excellent tips for someone new to reading comics. I particularly like **Just Jump In**:
> With our current digital resources, reading a series from the very beginning is extremely easy. But remember, most of us who read comics in the past didn’t necessarily start from issue 1. If everybody started enjoying Batman from Detective Comics #1, then everybody must either be extremely rich or old.
> Most of the time, we just bought a comic, read it (slightly, if not completely confused), and tried to put it all together in their head. With Wikipedia around, you can still cheat a bit and read some background to some of the story you didn’t catch, but sometimes it’s just fun to get lost in the story.
