→ Drafts get a 2.0 Update

Last night, Drafts for iPhone1 got an update to 2.0. It has a bunch of new features, including the ability to capture “links” to things like phone numbers and the ability to append to Dropbox files. That, however, was not the only Drafts related news. Drafts for iPad was also released and there is Simperium-based sync between the two versions2. I am just starting to use the new features, but there have already been write-ups from Gabe Weatherhead at MacDrifter, David Sparks at MacSparky, and iMore.

  1. Affiliate Link (as are all links to the Drafts apps in this post.)

  2. I have only used the sync for a short time, but, so far, I have been impressed. If this is what we can expect from Simperium-based syncing, then I think a number of iOS developers might look into moving to that. I hope Instacast is next.
