→ Main Street Bakery and Fountain View to add ‘La Boulange’ baked goods to the menu

Are we still allowed to say we want the original Main Street Bakery cinnamon roll back or has that train left the station?

→ New Mickey Kitchen Sink Sundae (AKA The Mickey Pants Sundae) available at Disney World

→ Lexi Thompson threw out the first pitch at a Marlins game and it was ugly

Poor Lexi. On the plus side, it was cool that she got recognized for her recent major win.

→ Big Name Restaurants May Be Headed to Disney Springs

I used to spend 2-3 nights per trip at Downtown Disney. On our upcoming honeymoon, I wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t stop there at all. I hope the completion of Disney Springs makes it a “must stop” location once again.

→ Peter Jackson Renames the Third Leg of the Hobbit Trilogy

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies it is.

→ How FastPass+ is Affecting Wait Times at Disney World Attractions

Josh from EasyWDW breaks down the numbers:

Overall, FP+ is causing wait times to increase at most secondary attractions, while having a less substantial impact at the most popular attractions with the longest wait times.

That seems about right. People who never would use a Fastpass on a given attraction are now being forced to select 3 attractions a day, causing those extra attractions to get long waits. Hopefully, the next phase of Fastpass+ can help alleviate this problem.

→ Frozen characters Elsa and Anna arrive at Princess Fairytale Hall and already waits are over 2 and a half hours

If you want to see Anna and Elyssa over the next few months, I recommend you either (1) get a Fastpass+ for their meet and greet, or (2) be there right at rope drop and visit them first.

→ Breaking down iOS URL Scehemes and URL Encoding

This piece by Phillip Gruneich is a great starting point for people who want to understand how to use URL schemes in iOS.(Or a good refresher for people who have used them before.) Gruneich’s piece won’t explain how to use URL schemes, but it will give you the foundation you need to understand the way URLs are encoded.

→ How to cancel an iTunes or App Store subscription right from your iPhone or iPad

I did not know this was possible.

→ Did Harley Quinn Just Get Added To The “Arrow”-verse?

“I want to manage expectations with respect to Harley Quinn,” Guggenheim told Collider in response to a question about using Batman characters now that “Gotham” has begun production. “She was always intended to be an Easter egg. I don’t want people to go in with incorrect expectations and walk away from Episode 16 disappointed. But there is an element to the Easter egg that was not spoiled by the promo, that I think people will find a lot of fun.”

It was a cool cool to hear Tara Strong’s voice on the show. At this point, I think I would be okay with the Arrow show runners bringing Harley Quinn to the show. At this point, I think that Harley in a show like Arrow is a lot more likely than her showing up in the new Justice League movie universe.

→ Palmiotti Shares the Secrets of “Harley Quinn’s” Success

It should come as no surprise that a comic with Harley Quinn as the lead character would do well. She has a huge fan base, and Palmiotti’s promise to bring her closer to her original roots has made her long term fans extremely excited for the book.

→ Disney Springs development to bring massive expansion to Buena Vista Drive

To handle the increased amount of traffic in the area, the road will be expanded to 10 lanes and will be equipped with a dedicated bus lane. Two pedestrian bridges will also be built, allowing easy crossing of Buena Vista Drive.

Even before Disney Springs was announced, this was long overdue.

→ Feds will require new cars to include backup cameras

It takes about 2 days using a backup camera before you start to wonder “how did I ever survive without this?”
