I cannot figure out if this will decrease the time it takes to walk from one end of Downtown Disney to the other or not.
Month: November 2013
Sometimes, the NCAA makes a decision so stupid, it does not wait even 24 hours before reversing it.
Can’t we all just agree that P.J. should sit for 8 games and move on from this?
I really hope they can execute their vision and make this place a reality.
> Also returning for the second year, the Marketplace Booths will offer up delectable treats and beverages. A few new delicious options will find their way to the menus. At the Smokehouse Barbeque booth, guests can try a barbeque chicken leg or the Piggylicious Bacon Cupcakes (mmmm….).
It will be my honeymoon, and I *will* have a Bacon Cupcake.
I guess it’s official.[^f1419]
[^f1419]: At a minimum, they got the hair with the red streaks right.
I have been at Disney for New Year’s Eve once. The Epcot fireworks I saw that night were *the best* I have ever seen. Hands down.
Of course, we did have to navigate a crazy, crazy amount of people. Still, it was worth it.
My favorite Mac podcast app, *Instacast*, is [now available in the Mac Appstore](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/instacast/id733258666?mt=12&at=10l5TL)[^f5317]. If you are someone who has avoided buying it simply because you prefer Mac App Store versions, now is your chance to pick it up.

I miss the Skyway. It was so relaxing and cool.
> Led by a series focused on “Daredevil,” followed by “Jessica Jones,” “Iron Fist” and “Luke Cage,” the epic will unfold over multiple years of original programming, taking Netflix members deep into the gritty world of heroes and villains of Hell’s Kitchen, New York. Netflix has committed to a minimum of four, thirteen episodes series and a culminating Marvel’s “The Defenders” mini-series event that reimagines a dream team of self-sacrificing, heroic characters.
Woah. Huge move by Netflix.
I am, unsurprisingly, pumped about this.
At $75-150 a game, I think that comes out better than the $12.50 an hour that a Disney princess makes.
What a quick turn around. I thought an injury that looked *that* horrible would have kept him out at least partially into the season.
> An NIT berth, which would require at least a 17-14 record, should be viewed as a major success and step forward for this very young Tiger team. That may be asking too much though. Growth, steady improvement, and closer to 15 wins is what I’m expecting this season as big success may still be a year away.
I am guessing that I will not be watching too many Tigers basketball games this year.
Trailer for Ron Moore’s new Show
This looks super creepy.
Gomes’ boots won’t be sold to public
This is probably for the best. I definitely would have wanted a pair and I would have looked ridiculous in them.
Tons of good information for anyone headed down to the World this holiday season.
Scott and his various sites and podcasts were the first resources I used when I started taking pictures. I never would have developed my photography the way I did without his help. I wish him good luck as he moves on.
> But go back and scroll through the first round draft picks in 2005 after the Pirates took Andrew McCutchen at 11—better yet, between McCutchen and Clay Buchholz in the sandwich round—and the fact remains that McLeod, Epstein and Red Sox made one of their best picks ever to get Jacoby Ellsbury at 23. Eight years and $20.8M later, they have two rings and two parades and if he leaves, the expectation that when he returns, he does so to a long, thunderous standing moment of thanks.
It is going to be sad to see Jacoby go, but his time in Boston was pretty awesome.[^f0833]
[^f0833]: It is amazing how quickly a World Series win can wipe away a few years of injuries and other “collapses.”
Ko turning pro was a complete no brainer. I am glad the LPGA gave her the waiver to let her join the tour even though she is only 16.
It’s the most, wonderful time…of the year.
