Moved On

As you can see below, the last post that I wrote on this site was in 2017. August 2017, as college football season was about to start. Honestly, I am not sure what occured around that time that made me stop writing, but I am pretty sure part of it was that I grew tired of just doing those link posts (which is mainly what the site had devolved into.)

Since then, most of my online “writing” has been on my Twitter page, or, if it was about Disney, at my Disney focus website Rope Drop [dot] Net. Recently, however, I started writing again over at JohnKivus.com (which, actually, used to be the domain of my photographer website…probably through about 2012-2013.) If you want to follow my writing, check me out at one of those places. For now, my plan is to just keep this site up as an archive of what I tried to do for a few years.

If NC doesn’t do it, another state will. Might as well keep NC as a great place for craft beer.

This was worrisome. It still feels like we’re going to have a scenario where he needs some kind of “fix” before the end of the contract.

Clemson’s 2017 Football Schedule

Though [I’m still basking in the glow of Clemson’s national title victory](http://ropedrop.net/2017/01/congratulations-to-the-national-champion-clemson-tigers/)), [Clemson’s 2017 schedule has been released](http://www.shakinthesouthland.com/2017/1/24/14371280/2017-clemson-football-schedule-released). After a warm-up on September 2nd against Kent State, Clemson’s welcomes Auburn on September 9th (which should give us a good idea of the 2017 Tigers).

Clemon’s ACC opener comes next and its [against Louisville on September 16](http://sports.yahoo.com/news/clemson-begins-acc-title-defense-with-trip-to-louisville-191958381.html). This is kind of a bummer since it doesn’t give Clemson much time to adjust to life without Deshuan Watson. (As a side note, [Louisville plays Carolina the week before](http://www.tarheelblog.com/2017/1/24/14373052/unc-football-2017-schedule-tar-heels-louisville-notre-dame).)

Major remaining games include at Virginia Tech on September 30, home against Florida State on November 11, and at South Carolina on November 25th.

Should be an interesting year.

Dombrowski Ain’t F#$king Around: Sox Sign Sale, Thornburg, Moreland

I haven’t had time to fully process this. Losing Moncado feels like a blow, but Sale might be worth it? Dombrowski’s reputation, however, makes it feel like another “giving up too much of the future” to win *now* move.

Interesting. Of course, this won’t really change my enjoyment of the show. It just seems like it will increase the cost it takes WWE to put it on.
